Rob Wernli - Partner
Robert has extensive audit experience commencing his career in 1984 with KPMG in their Audit Division until establishing DFK Collins. Robert specialises in audit and audit related consulting assignments. Within the firm Robert oversees staff recruitment and development.Robert has experience with a range of audit clients in both the private and public sectors. His experience also includes internal audit and specific consulting assignments including business and financial planning and implementation of appropriate governance structures and procedures. Other special areas of interest to Robert include manufacturing and costing systems, management accounting, the gaming industry and local government.
Simon Bragg - Partner
Simon commenced his career with KPMG and obtained the status of Audit Manager. Simon then pursued a career in senior finance roles for public and private companies before returning to the audit profession and DFK Collins. Simon's experience in both the corporate and professional sectors has included internal audit reviews, corporate restructures, development of budget/forecasting models, the development of management reporting and key performance indicators, implementation of IT systems, and the implementation of policies and procedures and internal controls.
Michael Port - Partner
Michael joined DFK Collins after 12 years at PKF Melbourne. He spent 5 years as an Audit Partner focused on external company audit. Prior to PKF, Michael was employed with KPMG as an Audit Manager.Recent ASX listed and public company experience allows Michael to provide specialist advice on accounting standards, financial report preparation, accounting systems and best corporate governance practices. Industry specialisations include the mining, oil & gas, transport and manufacturing sectors.
His portfolio of audit clients has also included medium sized private businesses and many not for profit public entities.
